Summary about the event:<\/p>\n
In the beginning the Lecturer talked about the historical eras that the judicial system passed through with the establishing of the Iraq state in 1929. In the beginning it was according to the law of (Courts and Judges) number 31. After then the judicial system had seen many development as a result of changing governments in Iraq, till the law number 35 issued in September 18th 2003 by the civilian Governor and the coalition forces after the fall of Baath`s regime. After that the law number 23 in 2007 of judicial authority in Kurdistan regime was issued. The lecturer also indicated to the importance of amendment of the law to be appropriate with the developments that occurs in the commercial and social fields in addition to factors that led to corruption within the judicially system.<\/p>\n
Also a plan of developing the courts works in Kurdistan Region presented through the Data Show. For instance establishing a directorate of organizing the current relation of judicial authority with relevant institutions and to develop it, in the aim of ensuring the internal and external support for the judicial authority, in addition to establishing a website to introduce the judicial system and offer services.<\/p>\n
At the end, the lecturer indicated to the importance of modifying some laws such as (punishment law and civilian courts\u2026.etc) in addition to mentioning the system of managing the civilian law suits in the courts and positive effects in fast settlement the law suits in courts.
